The entries, whose keywords may be for an author, title, subject, or genre, are for acrostics, ballads, dialogues, enigmas, epigrams, epitaphs, fables, madrigals, satires, sermons, and sonnets. Each entry is followed by a volume number (1-3) and page number, but no information about the publications from which they were originally copied. An alphabetical list of authors (classical, Catholic, and literary) following the index (p. 147-168) does not have page numbers for index entries or page numbers from the three volumes. Collation uncertain. Written in 23-28 long lines; frame-ruled in hardpoint; quarto format. Written in cursive script by a single hand.
